The purpose of the church council is to provide for planning and implementing a program of nurture, outreach, witness, and resources. It also provides for the administration of First United Methodist Church and envision, plan, implement, and annually evaluate the mission and ministry of the church.
A men’s group of all ages that meets every other Tuesday at 7 PM at local restaurants. Different studies and fellowship. This group also participates in fishing trips and various other activities.
Bring a non-perishable food item for the Samaritan Center/Glassboro Food Pantry.
9 AM and 11 AM in Sanctuary; childcare available. Power Hour Sunday School at 9:50 AM. Communion on the first Sunday of the month.
Young Adult ( College) A study class that meets in the church lobby during the college year. Leader: Melodie Norton, Director of Young Adults and Campus Ministry
This group records and preserves the history of First United Methodist Church, Glassboro. Their current project is to publish a booklet narrating the history from the last publication to the present. The group meets on the 4th Monday of each month. Leader: George Armstrong
