You can help with these Glassboro mission projects.

Our church is one of 7 Glassboro churches sponsoring a community backpack and school supply drive  for students from Kindergarten to college.  Backpacks are the primary need, but any of the standard  supplies – plus individual containers of hand sanitizer- are welcome.  There will be boxes for these items in the church narthex and the Fellowship House entry, or you can drop them off at the Samaritan Center, 123A East High St,  from 1 – 3 pm Monday or Wednesday until August 8.  There are also opportunities to inventory supplies on July 22, 9am to  4 pm at Healing Wings Church on Stanger Ave.  (Their room is air conditioned)  and to stuff backpacks the week of Aug 9 – 13.  More information as it becomes available. Contact Dave Walters or Mission and Outreach Team members.

The Samaritan Center is currently requesting donations of fruit juice, jelly and wrapped snack foods such as granola bars or peanut butter crackers.  The clothes closet is also requesting new men’s socks.  These can be brought to the Center or placed in the box in the narthex.  Questions?  See Dave Walters, Ingres Simpson or Cindy Groff.
