“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” –Matthew 5:16
Dear Church Family,
This Sunday, July 12th, we will open our 9am service for the first time since March. Our worship, hospitality, and reopening committees have done an amazing job getting everything ready for us to come together safely. Praise God for them!
Here are some things we want you to know. When you arrive, we ask that you enter on the New Street side of the parking lot. Once you’re in, there will be people and signs to show you where to park, sit, how to access the digital bulletin, and a host of other things. They’ll give you a mask if you’ve forgotten yours and point you to the hand sanitizing station, if you need it. We recommend you bring your own chairs if you’re going to sit in the area marked out for the worship space or bring a blanket to sit in the grassy area beyond it.
For anyone bringing kids, everyone over two years old is required to wear a mask. There won’t be any nursery provided so kids will need to stay with their family. We’d love to see them running around or coming up for Kids’ Corner but, unfortunately, we can’t allow that right now. If you need to bring something to keep them occupied, feel free. If you think your child won’t be able to sit through or wear a mask during the entire service, then you may want to continue worshiping with us online until you believe they’re ready.
Starting Monday, July 13th, we will be taking reservations for our 11am service which we plan to open on July 19th. Please call the church office from 9am-2pm Monday-Friday to reserve a seat. The number is (856) 881-3295. Our sanctuary’s capacity is limited.
These are trying times for all of us. By demonstrating Christ-like care and compassion for each other, God will not only see us through it but use us and our good works to glorify himself and show others what it’s like to live in Jesus’ love.
Yours in Christ,
Pastor J-
