A Little Bit of Everything.........

Support the Glassboro FUMC Relay for life team. Friday May 30th, a group of people from our church will be participating in the Relay for Life of Gloucester County. Last year our group was able to raise almost $3000 in donations and Luminaries to help the American Cancer Society. Please help us reach the same goal by going online and finding our team under the relay for life of gloucester county website. Team Name: Glassboro FUMC

It's Here - Electronic Giving! Would you find it hlepful to have your offerings debited from your bank account as you do other monthly drafts? The First United Methodist Church of Glassboro now offers Electronic Giving for those of you who wish to have your contributions transferred electronically to the church's account. If you travel, this is particularly helpful in keeping up with your intended offerings. It allows you to avoid having to make "up the difference" later.
The authorizaiton forms with Answers to Frequently Asked Questions are available in the Narthex or by contacting the chruch office.

Thinking about how you may help the church on Sundays? Be a greeter or greeter coordinator for the 11:00 a.m. worship service (See BJ ). Volunteers are also wanted to take care of the pews now through April. It involves straightening pencils, replacing cards and envelopes, etc. Contact the church office. ALSO, anyone with library skills who is interested in continuing Barbara's great work is our church library, should contact the office.

The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive on May 13, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.

Vacation Bible School will be held July 13th - 17th. Besure to join us and bring your friends! There's something for all ages.

The Annual Church Picnic will be held at Wilson Lake Pool on Friday, July 18th, 3-8 p.m.
