These are FUMC's small groups.
We welcome you to fellowship with us.
We are ageless (any age), and we learn to knit or crochet or help you learn to do whatever needlecraft you are working on or want to work on. If you already know how to do these things, we are the group that makes and gives the prayer shawls to anyone needing one. About 115 have already been given away. The fellowship is uplifting . We meet the 1st and 3rd Mondays, 7:30-9:00 p.m. at the FUMC Fellowship House.
This group helps to promote a caring relationship among the members by reaching out with visits, phone calls, or notes. Group meets the first Monday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in the church office.
"In every local church there shall be an organized unit of United Methodist Women....open to any woman who indicates her desire to belong and to participate in the global mission of the church..." Join us for fellowship, projects and hospitality. Group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
Fellowship, devotions, food and activities are the ingredients for this group of people in the 18-44ish age bracket. Usually gathering twice a month for something, you'll have to check the calendar for their activity. "Got Questions" meeting at 9:45 a.m. Sunday mornings is another gathering for this group.
A fellowship time for "Seniors" with activities and places to go. Group meets the fourth Thursday each month from 1:30 -3:30 p.m.
The UMM provides ongoing opportunities for fellowship, personal growth and Christian service to the men of the church. If you are inclined to be a participant rather than a spectator, or have been known to tell a story or two, or don't mind eating from time to time, you would fit right into this group. Group meets the fourth Monday of each month; 7:30 p.m in the Methodist Fellowship House.
