Stephen Ministers are busy now!
The ministry of this devoted group of God’s servants is expanding to fit the needs of FUMC. Effective immediately you’ll find Abbie* and Cliff, Denise and Mary, along with any Care Team Members who wish to join us, visiting our shut-ins and those we miss seeing in Worship regularly. There are so many reasons that members fall into these two categories and the training these Stephen Ministers have received has well equiped them to care through whatever they may be.
Their education continues with units encompassing such topics as hospitalization, divorce, aging, and loss of loved ones. Keep your eyes on the calendar and bulletin inserts for dates and times for these training sessions. Let us know if you are interested in joining us in this type of visitation ministry. You would be warmly welcomed.
